5 Wozix Bugs

Wozix is in production. It is known that bugs do exist in the current release. Bugs found by the user may be reported to the Wozterm / Wozix development team.

5.1 Reporting Wozix Bugs

  1. Upon finding a Bug in Wozix, as a first step ensure that it can be recreated. Repeat the steps that were undertaken when the error was encountered and ensure that the error is repeated also.
  2. Go to WozANet - http://domino-u1/is/dscservreq.nsf/WozANet?OpenFrameset (or Help>Visit Wozterm Bug Reporting Page) - and navigate to the "Service Request System".
  3. In the left hand frame click on "Issues", then under issues click on "All".
  4. Double-check that the bug that has been encountered is not due to user error, or an error at the NE that was connected to in the script.
  5. If not already done, create a script that isolates the bug found. Do not send an entire connection/automation script, only send the section that causes the Wozterm error. Note that this step is optional, but is much appreciated by the Wozterm Support Team.
  6. Click on the "New Issue" button on the right of the main frame, and fill out the form presented:
  7. Select an appropriate Module, then fill out your contact details, along with a brief description of the Issue.
  8. In the "Issue Detail" section, include a full description of the bug, optionally a demonstration script, and any suggestions relating to fixing it or avoiding it in future.
  9. Click on the "Save" button, followed by the "Close" button
