Function Keys |
Function keys are now accessed using Ctrl-F1 - F10 and Ctrl-Shift-F1 - F10 instead of F1 - F10 and Shift-F1 - F10. For example, to run the Ozterm F9 Connect script file equivalent in Wozterm, press Ctrl-F9. |
NE Connections |
Connections are handled internally in Wozterm rather than using a command line TSR, eg VDMTCP, in Ozterm. This means all connections and disconnection's are performed using either the Wozterm 'Actions' menu options or the script commands @Connect and @Disconnect, instead of using typed commands or @Send and @Waitfor, etc. The Wozterm connect script files provide the same functionality as the Ozterm connect files, ensuring continuity between the two applications. |
Sessions |
The standard Wozterm session directories are designated 001 upward and the Compatibility Mode sessions are designated Ozi001 upward. The base directory is defined in Wozterm.ini by sessionroot with the directory C:\Documents and Settings\(userid)\Local Settings\Application Data\Wozterm as default. These session directories contain the session logs and working files. The files session.ini and cmdhist.txt, which save data for use by subsequent sessions, are stored in a second session directory under C:\Documents and Settings\(userid)\Application Data\Wozterm. Sessions and ports are not aligned in Wozterm as they are in the CLS version of Ozterm. This will only cause problems if two Wozterm sessions attempt to connect to the same serial port. |
Directories |
To enable Wozterm to be run by ordinary users on the Windows XP platform, the Wozterm installation package uses a standard set of default directories. However, the install is fully compatible with Windows 2000 and NT 4.0 as well. The Wozterm program files, standard scripts, help and syntax checkers are stored in C:\Program Files\Wozterm. Connect data files, and some INI files are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Wozterm. The main Wozterm INI files and the General Utilities (Alt G) script files are stored under C:\Documenta and Settings\(user id)\Application Data\Wozterm. Refer to the 'Sessions' section above for details of where Session files are stored. |
B-Modules |
Command and Printout descriptions are accessed via the Global Connect Switching Documentation site http://www-switchdoc.nto.telecom.com.au/switching.htm. Users must have a login and password to access the System 12, AXE or AXE GSM documentation. To apply for access, click on the appropriate link. To access the documentation from Wozterm, select the Help menu then either NE Command Description or NE Printout Description, which opens a Wozhelp window. If the Wozterm session is connected to a site using the standard connect script files, the appropriate documentation will be automatically selected from the list of known exchange types. |
