groups for collecting Device connection data from AXE or System 12
 sites.

HOW TO SETUP THE PROGRAM

1. Load the new and updated files under the appropriate directories.

2. Edit PREPARE.C and insert the require Exchange List file name to
be used for an execution run, and save the file as PREPARE.DAT in
    the users OZTERM working directory.

3. Run PREPARE.CMD. This file will create an Exchange list file
(using the name set in PREPARE.DAT) for an execution run. Enter
the Nodes to be accessed for this execution run. The script file
will then check your "sel_???.txt" or "aom_???.txt file for the
Lncd code. If the Lncd code is found the data will then be
written to the Exchange List file. The following rules MUST be
    observed:

    a) Only one technology type is allowed per execution run per
session, ie AXE or System 12.

    b) When accessing both directly connected Nodes and Nodes via an
AOM, the directly connected sites MUST be entered first, then
the AOM, then the sites to be accessed via this particular AOM.

    c) Enter END to complete the Exchange List preparation.

4. PREPARE.CMD will then automatically include PREPEMG.CMD or
PREPS12.CMD, depending on the technology type selected for this
execution run. You will then be asked if you want to create a New
EMG or RSU list for each Node.

    a) If an AXE Node, enter each RSS name (must be 5 characters) and
the associated LI Range to be checked

    b) If a System 12 Node, enter the RSU name (must be 6 characters)
and the associated Network Addresses to be checked.

    c) When all RSS's, or RSU's, to be checked for the particular Node
have been entered, enter END to complete the RSS (RSU) List.

5. Edit the sample UNIT_A.C file and save as UNIT_A.DAT in the Users
OZTERM Working directory. Set the following variables:

_xgelstd = "exchange list" Set to the Exchange List file name
used in PREPARE.DAT for this execution
                                    run.

_local1 = "CMDS\AUTO\NOT_SET.CMD" This file is run once at the
                                    start of the execution run.

_local2 = "CMDS\AUTO\ST_DEV.CMD" This file checks the B module set
for the Node to determine which file
to run, ie STDEP.CMD or SYS12EN.CMD.
This file is run once per site for the
                                    execution run.

_local3 = "CMDS\AUTO\NOT_SET.CMD" This file is run once at the end
                                    of the execution run.

_whichdays = "EVERYDAY" This is used to determine whether the
file is to be run on any day of the
week, or if set to "WEEKDAYS" to run
only during the working week, ie
                                    MONDAY to FRIDAY.

_daytime = "2300" Set to the time of day that the
execution run is due to start.

6. Run UNITAUTO.CMD to set up the Time Event, specifying "S" for
Single run (ie run straight away), or "E" to set a Time Event. If
you wish to check or change the date/time for the Time Event to
occur, select the Time Event Menu from the SETUP Menu.

7. The printout results are logged to the OZTERM\REPORT sub-directory
with file names set to the RSS or RSU names.
