10. BATCH FILES

10.1 There are two PIF files provided for those who are using the WINDOWS
environment. For the LAN situation OZTERML.PIF executes OZLAN.BAT.
The LAN manager will need to edit OZLAN.BAT to suit your local LAN
configuration (NOTE the MAP command, this is required so that OZTERM
can find LOCAL.DAT). For the stand alone PC the OZTERMC.PIF executes
     the OZDEV.BAT file.

Sample OZLAN.BAT file:

@echo off
cls
rem ***********************************************************

10.2 For the non-windows environment there are several batch files:

     i) Where you have access to more than one site, always start
OZTERM from the OZTERM directory by using OZDEV.BAT file.

@ECHO OFF
REM OZDEV.BAT
ozterm x=cmds\CONNECT.CMD

ii) Where you only have access to one site, always start
OZTERM from the OZTERM directory by using OZDRT.BAT file.
NOTE: You must edit DIRECTCN.CMD to add your LNCD that
             appears in your SEL_???.TXT file.

@ECHO OFF
REM OZDRT.BAT
ozterm x=cmds\DIRECTCN.CMD

iii) If using a NASI connection use the OZNASI.BAT or OZNASI2.BAT

       @echo off
       REM OZNASI.BAT
       C:
       cd \ozterm
       taskid
       nasi /d
       ozterm B=500 X=cmds\connect.cmd
       unload
       taskid /u
       cd \

OR

       @echo off
       REM OZNASI2.BAT
       C:
       cd \ozterm
       taskid
       nasi.exe /N="Username" /S="Session" /P="Password"
       ozterm B=500 X=cmds\connect.cmd
       nasi /u
       taskid /u
       cd \

10.3 Where there is not enough memory to execute the AXESORT program
within the PMB menu system, you will need to add the parameter B=500
(or lower) to the OZTERM execute line in the batch file. This will
restrict the number of main screen buffer lines to 500, and free up
approximately 50K of memory. The default value is 1000 and the
minimum value allowed is 201, any lower value defaults to 1000.

   eg.
 ozterm B=500 x=cmds\connect.cmd
             OR
 ozterm B=500 x=cmds\directcn.cmd

11-----------------------------------------------------------------------11

11. OZTERM START DIRECTORY

Remember when OZTERM is started for the first time, the OZDVR.REF
file will be created to set up your COM port data communication
details. All following times OZTERM will run with those default port
     details.

12-----------------------------------------------------------------------12

12. AUTO?.CMD

12.1 Some transmit files have been provided to set "Timed Events" for
the PMB routines. The following files are accessed via the PMB Menu
     system:- AUTOD.CMD, AUTOW.CMD, AUTOF.CMD and AUTOS.CMD

DESCRIPTION

The AUTO?.CMD files are used to automatically run the PMB routines
and/or any other transmit files of your own (on a regular basis or as
a one off) on any number of exchanges, via any number of AOMs if
required, from one PC. The file DEXCHNGE.LST must be set up, and then
the AUTO?.CMD file will handle the connection and disconnection to the
   relevant AOMs and Exchanges.

The PC must be left on at the end of the day, week or fortnight with
OZTERM running and the results will be available the next morning.
These files reside in the OZTERM\CMDS\AUTO sub-directory. The menu
system can be used to set them going via the "Timed Event" Table
(and then permanently on their own) or can be run manually in real time
   while you watch.

These options are available under the PMB Group Functions menu item for
each application system (eg. 29, 69, 66, etc)

The first part sets up the first time that the Daily routines will be
run automatically. The time that they are set to start is 3 o'clock
in the morning. You can change this if you need by modifying the
'0300' to suit. If you wish to manually run the routines see the
   comments above.

Additional functionality has been added by allowing you to include your
own files in two possible places. The first is such that your file will
act on each exchange as it is connected to. The second is such that you
can run a file that either views or prints the total results or for
example extracts information from the super sorter, or whatever at the
end of the "Auto" run. Your file names are to be registered in the
file PMB.DAT against variables _local?1 and _local?2, where the ? is
d for daily, f for fortnightly and w for weekly.

   Other files needed are:-
   a) PMB.DAT - a file containing information that is alterable by the
user (refer to PMB.C for example).
               - similar to LOCAL.DAT and should be in the working
directory _workdrv, _workpath (check your set up, this
                 may have changed)
               - set your own file names (and extra paths if you want) here

   b) DEXCHNGE.LST - this file should be in the same directory as PMB.DAT.
It contains the list of exchanges that you specifically
want the PMB routines to run on. The best way to create
this file is to edit a copy of "AOM_???.TXT", by deleting
all the unwanted lines only leaving lines with the
                 required Exchange LNCDs.
               - To indicate the end of the list of exchanges the last
listing must have the LNCD of END
               - If the exchanges are to be accessed via the AOM the entry
before those exchanges to be accessed via the AOM must be
the line containing the AOM's LNCD and an entry of "AOM"
                 under the Bmd column.
               - If some more exchanges are to be accessed via another AOM,
the same list can be added to, remembering that the entry
before those exchanges to be accessed via the second AOM
must be the line containing the second AOM's LNCD and an
entry of "AOM" under the Bmd column.
               - If you want to connect to any exchanges other than via
the AOM, these exchanges must be listed before any AOM
                 listing.

  c) CONNECT.CMD - connects the required exchanges.

  d) LOCAL.DAT - a file containing information that should be standard for
all sites but is alterable by the user, that runs in conjunction with
most transmit files, to set up appropriate directories paths etc.
                - in the your OZTERM working directory.

  e) The appropriate latest ??daily.cmd, ??wekly.cmd and ??fort.cmd files
for the exchanges you are interested in.

  f) OZTERM version 6.20 or better, and SEL_???.TXT".

  g) NOT_SET.CMD - a default file name to use if no local files wanted.
                  - to be copied from AUTO directory to the working
directory, ie. to be in the same directory as PMB.DAT

  h) Any local files (named by variable _locald1 and _locald2) set in
PMB.DAT and in the same directory as PMB.DAT.

13. CUSTOMER OPERATIONS OCG FILES

13.1 CUSTOMER OPERATIONS OCG FILES
These files are to be created by the EMG/OSC staff so that the OCG
values can be automatically selected by the ??SUBS.CMD file when used
for subscriber connections. The ??SUBS.CMD file will use the SUBS.DAT
     file set the local needs.
The file naming convention is LNCD.OCG where LNCD is the exchange LNCD
     eg. BUNX.OCG or BUNX_9.OCG or BUNX_97

     OCG File Location
These files are to be positioned on the hard-disk in the SITEDATA sub-
     directory under the OZTERM\CMDS directory.

     PC Example - C:\OZTERM\CMDS\SITEDATA\BUNX.OCG

     LAN Example - O:\OZTERM\CMDS\SITEDATA\BUNX.OCG
