                CFE AXE /A4 V 5.2 Multilink Help
                -----------------------------------
V5.2 Multilink Routes can comprise both Analogue and ISDN customer devices.
The device used for ISDN BRA is LIBAV5G. At this time Telstra does not use V5.2 PRA devices.
The device used for PSTN is LIV5G.

CFE checks for V5 Route identification, The devices logical identity and the C state of the B channels.

CFE can check the for the device list and while highlight abnormal Cstates (not UPC)

CFE then checks specified devices for C states and device and ABS states.

                ---------------------------------
V5.2 is an ETSI interface operating over a number of 2 Mbit/s
PCM links. V5.2 employs one primary 2 Mbit/s link, one secondary 2 Mbit/s link and
optionally up to 14 additional 2 Mbit/s links.

V5-GS is the set of parts within subsystem SSS that handles administrative and traffic
functions for subscribers connected to Access Networks [CMUX] which communicate with the
Local Exchange over a V5.2 signalling interface connected to the Group Switch.
The access network connected subscribers can be PSTN, ISDN-BA or ISDN-PRA.

The Primary 2Mbit/s link uses TS 16 for the signalling channel carrying the V5.2 protocol.
The TS 16 on the Secondry 2Mbit/s link is used for the standby V5.2 signalling channel.

                ---------------------------------------------------
Ctype Type of connection between B-channel and User Port.
	NUP Not User Port-connected.
If neither of the two B-channels of an
ISDN-BA access are UP connected, then the device for that ISDN-BA access
will be	printed as NUP. If a PSTN access is not UP connected, then the
device for that PSTN access will be printed as NUP.

NUP/PL	Not User Port-connected with Permanent Line status.
If one B-channel of an ISDN-BA access has been defined, then the other
B-channel will be printed as NUP/PL. NUP/PL cannot be printed for a PSTN
		access.

UPC The B-channel / Device is connected to the User Port.

UPC/PRE	The B-channel is connected to the User Port with Pre-Connection.
A Preconnected B-channel has a time slot allocated on a V5.2 link with no
connection through the Group Switch (GS) until a call is to be made.
UPC/PRE is only valid for V5-GS.

UPC/SPC	The B-channel is connected to the User Port with Semi-Permanent connection.
		A Semi-Permanent connected B-channel has a time slot allocated on a V5.2
link as well as a permanent connection set up through the GS. UPC/SPC is
only valid for V5-GS and V5.2 in SS.

UPC/SPC/PRE The B-channel is connected to the User Port with Semi-Permanent connection
and Preconnection. The Semi-Permanent connection overrides the Preconnection
UPC/SPC/PRE is only valid for V5-GS
