CFE AXE Protocol & MDR Help
                       ---------------------------
                       For: CFE Ver4.2

HELP FOR THE MAINTENANCE DATA REGISTER SUB-MENU
------------------------------------------------

1. CFE allows access to the /29 MDR, a "live" database of
customers with a "detected" fault or error condition.
Only the ISDN customer can be accessed by this menu however
the same faunctions apply equally to analogue.

2. When a the AXE detects these conditions either as a
response to manually ordered tests or as a result of
daily automatic tests, it creates a record for the
custmer in MDR. 1500 customer records can be raised,
however these records can contain more than one
fault type. The is only one actual record per customeer.

3. Other menus use the MDR when looking at individual customers
in detail, However the keys below look at ISDN DSL services
for global fault conditions. Useful we you have
some spare time to be proactive.

4. These notes are to explain each key function and its use.
